        The mining engineering laboratory was approved as the Key Laboratory of Liaoning Province by the Education Department of Liaoning Province in 2003.         Shenyang Dongda Safety Engineering Research Center is a safety engineering intermediary organization integrating production, learning and research. It was established in 2003, and is subordinate to the school of resources and civil engineering of Northeast University, relying on safety engineering and safety technology and engineering disciplines.         The center has perfect infrastructure and good working conditions, and has laboratories for safety technology, accident simulation, ergonomics, dust explosion, dust removal technology, aerodynamics, chemical detection, microbial technology, filter material testing, etc. The area of the laboratory is about 1200 square meters.         The center is one of the earliest institutions to carry out safety assessment in China. In line with the purpose of "checking for the government and serving enterprises", and based on more than 20 years of practical experience in the field of safety, the center has evaluated the safety status of hundreds of enterprises, providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for the safety production of enterprises; At the same time, it pays attention to the dissemination of safety science knowledge, and carries out safety production training for leaders and managers at all levels, safety engineering technology and management personnel of ten enterprises, and compiles handouts and teaching materials that can meet the requirements of all kinds of safety production training, so as to ensure safe production and promote the healthy, sustainable development and social stability of the national economy.
